Thanks to all of you who use Kanopy and have made it clear that this is a resource you want for the long-term, we have made some changes to the library's subscription that we hope will simplify and enhance the user experience.
Effective this weekend, TML cardholders will no longer need tickets to enjoy the film and TV options on this platform. Instead, you will have unlimited access to the collection available on your Kanopy homepage, which now includes Episodic TV, Favorites, Easy Watching, and Diversity (in addition to World Cinema, British Film & TV, and Kanopy Kids). By removing ticketed options and adding more to our customized catalog, Kanopy can remain a simpler and more sustainable digital resource for our library. Similar to a subscription to Netflix or HBO Max, the titles in each of these collections will refresh every 4-6 months, giving viewers new choices and more opportunities to explore Kanopy's complete catalog. (Note: you may still see an icon indicating the number of tickets available to you, but none of the content requires tickets; this icon will soon disappear.)
