How Brick works

BRICK is a physical device that temporarily removes distracting apps and their notifications from your phone. It works with a  subscription-free app for Android and iOS, which blocks distractions and tracks your focus. You decide what you want to block and when; tap your phone to the device to brick or un-brick! 

If you've been looking for a way to reduce doom-scrolling and phone distractions, you can give BRICK a try by borrowing it from our Library of Things. Stop by the library to check it out!

Stop in for our next virtual scam prevention discussion, Fraud Watch with Phil and Pam. Our focus will be how to spot and protect yourself against investment scams. These scammers often pose as government officials to trick you into giving personal information or sending money. We want to address your questions and hear your ideas and stories, too.

Phil Chin is an AARP volunteer who leads AARP Fraud Watch Network efforts in Maine, and Pam Partridge leads the AARP Maine volunteer speakers bureau.

This is a free online event, and AARP membership is not required.
