To celebrate Pride Month, the silver screen of Film School will be graced with French director Céline Sciamma's exquisite costume drama Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019). Any lover of art, music, history, emotional buildup and cathartic release is bound to be moved by this film, the first winner of the Queer Palm at Cannes Film Festival to be directed by a woman. Join us for a screening and discussion and as always, feel free to bring your own snacks; popcorn provided.

 Please join us for a special evening in honor of this year's Summer Reading Community Spotlight organization, the Locker Project! For the month of July, the Locker Project has decided to use their time in the Stier Family Gallery to shine their own spotlight on some of the local farms they partner with.

At 6:00pm, come by to hear in their own words what the Locker Project does, why, and how--and of course, hang out afterwards to ask them any questions, grab a snack and a drink, and take a look at the beautiful photo gallery showcasing their featured farm partners!

In honor of this year’s Summer Reading Community Spotlight, The Locker Project, please join us for a special screening of Agnés Varda’s beloved documentary, The Gleaners and I. Follow Varda across France as she explores the historic and modern practice of gleaning, and learn more about one aspect of The Locker Project’s work with our own local farms!

Runtime: 82 minutes. All ages welcome.

 We now have three American Mahjong sets available for borrowing. They go out for three weeks. We also have a recent book that explains how to play. 

We have two Class 1 E-Bikes available for borrowing by adults 18 and up. Call us to get on a waiting list, or stop by to see if one is available. We are scheduled to have the bikes through June, but hope to keep them longer!
